Which I ordered the new Kirk lock. Also, the cord must have been wrapped up for years, because there are little cracks in outside housing right where bends were. It may need a new cord at some point, but if I were keeping it and using it, would just wrap those parts of the tightly with electrical tape. I know the new model's of these are around $400.

I am guessing maybe the reason they never used it was because of missing lock nut. I had to order a new one. This is a new open box grinder, it has never been used, however, an older model that I got from welding/fabricating company went out of business. It did not have a disc lock/nut on it.

I tested it, and it runs just like a brand new one should though.
